Rotary Australia World Community Service - District 9750
Welcome to the RAWCS website - showcasing the international projects of the Rotary Clubs in District 9750 - Eastern Region.
As Rotarians, we aim to promote worldwide peace and goodwill through projects assisting communities overseas, supporting international projects throughout the world alleviating poverty, promoting world peace and understanding.
RAWCS approved programs include: - PolioPlus Volunteers, Donations in Kind (DIK), Rotarians Against Malaria (RAM), Ranfurly Library, Village Aide Program, Green Gecko Shelters in Cambodia - Kundiawa Hospital in PNG, Oro Province Disaster Relief, PNG, Timor Leste, Nepal and Thailand projects
This website promotes projects active in our District 9750 also assisting Rotary Clubs to select, co-ordinate or manage an international project; Rotarians and non-Rotarians can participate by donating to projects of their choice, or by volunteering for projects within Australia or overseas.

Funds donated to RAWCS projects are tax-deductible, and the projects are managed by Rotary International guidelines - often in conjunction with a Rotary Club, agency or organisation in the allotted area - ensuring all funds benefits the designated projects in these communities or villages.
RAWCS is a division of Rotary Australia World Community Service Ltd (RAWCS), a company established by Rotary International in Australia to support the delivery of international projects by Australian Rotarians

Our Vision
- To encourage and foster the advancement of International Goodwill and Understanding.
- To encourage Rotarians, Rotary Clubs, Rotary Districts and others to participate in meaningful World Community Service projects.
- To co-ordinate the World Community Service activities of Rotary Clubs and Districts where considered necessary and/or requested.
- To seek and select suitable World Community Service projects and promote the active co-operation of Rotary Clubs and Districts in their execution.
- To encourage meaningful professional administration and reporting of World Community Service projects undertaken by Rotary Clubs and Districts.
- To deal with Governments, National Insurances Underwriters, Corporate Affairs and other bodies and/or departments, concerning requests for overseas assistance and all matters consistent with the Objects of RAWCS.
- To promote co-operation between Rotary Clubs, Districts, Regions and The Rotary Foundation.
- To encourage the application of the Rotary Foundation Grants programs and AusAID subsidies to enhance the effectiveness of World Community Service projects.
- To promote co-ordination with New Zealand Rotarians, Rotary Clubs and Districts in World Community Service projects conducted in common areas of need.
- To promote increased knowledge of the Objects of Rotary International through Rotary Australia World Community Service Ltd. activities.
